Early Alpha 0.1.2: The Beginning of Something...

• "Mistbound" is in its early alpha stage, which means it's like that moment when you open a bag of chips, and you're just waiting for the first real crunch.
• You're among the first to set foot into "Mistbound." While there might not be much to do yet, you'll witness the birth of something epic.

Early Access Design:

• Player Cube Couture: Your character model? It's a cube. Elegantly minimalistic, isn't it?  (I just haven't made a sprite for it lol) 

• Literally No Texture: The walls? They're still seeking their fashion sense – no textures yet. Instead, we've gone green with grass PNG images for the environment. 
• Post-Processing: Experience post-processing that's so early, it's like trying to put icing on a cake that's still in the oven.
• The Almost-Gun Feature: It's almost a gun, but it's more like a tool for playing pretend shootouts. A work in progress that's more "pew-pew" than "bang-bang." (It literally makes fireflies if you click enough)
• This game has background music.

Current Movement Features :

• Double Jumping: Why jump once when you can jump twice? Double your jumping fun - because gravity is overrated.
• Horizontal Movement: Get ready to move sideways like never before. Sideways is the new up and down.
• Wall Jump and Wall Slide: Stick to walls like a clingy friend and slide down them like a fireman, only way cooler.

Game Mechanics:

The control, wall-slide, and wall-jump mechanics are designed for accessibility but will challenge your skills to master them. Here's how they work:

• Wall Slide: When near a wall, simply push against it to initiate a smooth wall slide.
• Wall Jump: To launch off the wall, press the 'Space' key when wall sliding, along with the direction you want to jump towards.

Tip: Make the most of the extra jump you get when touching a wall – it might just save you from a tricky situation.

Controls:

• Move: Use the 'A' and 'D' keys for horizontal movement.
• Jump: Press the 'Space' key to jump, and for a double jump, hit 'Space' twice.
• Shoot: To fire your weapon, simply press the left mouse button. Your shots will appear as harmless green dots for now, but stay tuned for their exciting purpose in future updates! (Unfinished)
